This role sits within our Operations department.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and confident in collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams throughout the organization. Within this role, you will be working with teams such as Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Finance. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of working with a first-class team in a high-growth environment and is relentless in their pursuit of excellence. You will join a fantastic team and work closely with the Deal Strategy Team.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter that is able to work autonomously and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment in which they can exceed expectations through personal drive. You should be passionate about project management, and strategic deal management, enjoy working simultaneously with senior stakeholders, and be data-driven and hungry for a challenge.

What you will be doing

    • Serve as the trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and merchant onboarding requirements
    • Serve as the subject matter expert of Checkout’s internal onboarding flow and act as the primary coordinator across all internal stakeholders to identify friction points within sales processes and accelerate deal velocity and cycle time
    • Maintain and perform against the agreed-upon company and departmental KPIs
    • Day to day deal management may include:
    • Project managing the end-to-end onboarding of top priority deals
    • Reviewing customer agreements/contracts, and working with Legal on amendments made to our global merchant agreements
    • Responding to inbound requests from the Sales team related to contracts
    • Supporting the sales team with pricing and constructing quotes/sales orders
    • Working with Customer Support and/or CSMs on merchant inquiries, as needed
    • Identifying and tracking process improvement opportunities in order to build a priority list of high-impact solutions across the sales org
    • Working closely with internal teams to ensure required documents are properly constructed
    • Supporting and adapting the execution of new processes
    • Manage multiple internal stakeholders while delivering exceptional service
    • Partner with Sales Operations to facilitate the process, system improvements, and reporting needs
    • Deliver relevant training to new and existing Deal Team Members

About You

    • 3-5 years of Deal Desk, Sales Ops, or Revenue Ops experience; Operations experience at a fast-growing payments company and/or knowledge of underwriting, risk, and compliance is also a huge plus
    • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, multi-task, and consistently meet tight deadlines
    • Detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-focused, humble, and eager to learn
    • Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in gSuite,; Basic knowledge and understanding of a CPQ tool
    • Fast learner and motivated by new challenges
    • Comfortable with and experience working with multidisciplinary senior stakeholders as well as external merchants
    • Passionate about technology, with a keen interest in the payment industry
    • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
