GAC Group Jobs Description

GAC Dubai is looking for Customer Representatives whose main purpose is to manage specific customer(s) or regional customer base through daily communication and solicitation.

The job exists to enhance customer relations, manage client commitments, solicit customer base, maintain accurate customer profiles and coordinate customer issues with partners. The job contributes to generating freight and future business by maintaining a good understanding of the customer’s industry and monitoring the customer’s changing business needs to meet or exceed their service expectations.

Key Areas of responsibilities:

  • Timely execution of jobs on behalf of clients, including using the portal, extending to quotes and general email exchange.
  • Ensure accurate and prompt shipment deliveries to increase potential repeat business.
  • Escalate issues promptly in case of complaints or other service-related issues.
  • Minimise inaccuracy, resolve problems and ensure that mistakes are not repeated in the future
  • Develop and enhance client/company relationship.
  • Self-assess, upgrade and refresh customer service skills and IT knowledge.
  • Maintain and update records for easy reference.
  • Follow up agent costs, ensure accurate quotations & files closed within 7 days of completion of the job.
  • Maximise the revenue output from existing clients.
  • Maintain proper and effective communication with all related internal/ external departments.
  • Display good phone etiquette.


  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.


  •  Graduate, university degree preferably with a diploma in logistics/shipping/export.
  • UAE Driver’s License preferred.
