About The Role

The Team Leader, Logistics is directly responsible for the accurate maintenance and distribution of products from the warehouse as assigned to the end user departments. The priority of this role will be to ensure all prompt processing of submitted requests, carry out all assigned and task handling, recording and follow up through to completion. Advise the Director and Department on the day-to-day problems or issues and provide detailed analysis and reports.
On this role you will be responsible for managing proper inventory levels of all products within the warehouse, ensuring negligible pilferage and spoilage. This position is responsible for the warehouse attendants to ensure accuracy of the pick and pack process, as well as the organization of location/aisle/bin management. Lead the day-to-day operation of the receiving dock and loading bay for all receiving to ensure that goods entering the property are as per specification, of the right quantity and without defects. Provide a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with Atlantis Dubai, policy & procedures. Ensure correct and timely receipt of all deliveries and timely dispatching to the requester. The primary goal is to focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.

About You
Ideally, we’d like you to have a relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferably in Business, Economics, or Supply Chain; International Business or Business Administration, or a related field & have a strong proficiency in administrative tasks. Minimum 4+ years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year at a supervisory level. You must be hands-on, and capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, with clear communication skills, a creative and analytical problem-solving skill set with a strong desire to constantly grow and evolve. Experience of working within a large-scale hotel or resort would be preferred. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required. You will have to demonstrate multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to this, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management. In this role, you will have the natural ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust.
