The role will be responsible for the development & implementation of the global partner strategy for the Banking Software Solutions division of Moody’s Analytics in EMEA. Building on MA’s PartnerAlliance program, you will source and sign new partners (product and technology vendors, consulting firms and auditors as well as integrators and third-party distributors) in support of our ecosystem expansion objectives. You will also manage a portfolio of existing partners. The primary objective will be to build a regional network of partner companies that can deliver banking software implementations, value-add solution & technology offerings and guidance on industry best practice to our mutual clients. Furthermore, you will use this network to generate incremental new business opportunities beyond those of MA’s direct salesforce.

  • Develop and manage the regional partner program, covering advisory firms, implementers, value add software vendors, integrators, third party distributors as well as product and technology vendors.
  • Maintain in conjunction with the Banking Software LOB a partner demand model and use it to continuously forecast and manage staffing requirements for partners covering skillset, geography and product knowledge needs.
  • Based on the above model:

o Source and onboard new partners.
o Manage a portfolio of existing partners.
o Negotiate best available rates.

  • Manage the flow of subcontracting work towards partners according to the strategy.
  • Develop win-win relationships that meet both profitability and growth objectives for the partner and MA.
  • Execute on appropriate communication mechanisms (web/email/conference) to ensure partners are always fully informed of MA/banking software products/services/requirements.
  • Ensure partners are trained and certified to MA Banking Software Solutions division’s standards and identify improvements areas.
  • Manage existing partner relationships ensuring that the required SLAs, quality standards and MCO standards for 3rd parties are being achieved. Monitor through a partner dashboard.
  • Identify and develop a strategic partner group and leverage those relationship to develop go to market plans to increase sales and revenue from those partners.
  • Establish in conjunction with Sales a strategy for leveraging partners to generate incremental sales.
  • From this sales strategy establish with MA sales an annual sales target from third parties and then work with MA sales to achieve this target.
  • Work with individual sales professionals and banking software implementation services to provide partner-based solutions where appropriate.


  • Software or Services sales experience and/or experience in developing relationships or partnerships with multiple third party/partner channels (e.g. consulting firms, product and technology vendors, third-party distributors and integrators)
