About the Role:

As the Operations Manager you will lead the RIMEA operations team and manage the operations relationships with our partner banks and support the operations management in day-to-day activities. You will deliver best in class service in accordance with the internal procedures and regulations to protect client interest and to exceed client expectations.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the RIMEA operation team employee’s
  • Implement changes to operations flows and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Support the new acquirer in Africa, Middle East, Russia and India
  • Provide training to acquirers on PP operational processes
  • Oversee daily report validation and reconciliation.
  • Compile special reports for major partners and invoicing
  • Setup and maintain merchant accounts and records.
  • Verify the Merchant setup records
  • Setup acquirer’s and merchant’s user IDs
  • Handle inquiries/issues and problem solve
  • Manage exception transactions process (Adjustments, Charge-backs, Re-presentments, Misc Fees etc)
  • Act as backup for other Operations team in the region. May be required to work shifts and additional hours
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required from time to time.


About You:

  • Experience managing and leading teams.
  • Prior experience in fintech/payments or credit card related industry desirable.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn; must be a good team player
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel and good with figures; knowledge of other Microsoft Office products needed as well (PowerPoint, Access and Word)
  • Proactive, strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and under pressure, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge on credit card industry will be definitely an advantage
  • Ability to read, interpret documents and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization- Preferably to be familiar with credit card business or other related disciplines
  • Degree holder or equivalent
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environment, hold a high level of responsibility to ensure timelines are met accordingly
