REQUIREMENT

Rise is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join as a key member of the Public Private Initiatives (PPI) client servicing team.

The person will be experienced in project and/or client account management, with the ability to work as part of a busy team and manage multiple projects at the same time.

Candidates should possess excellent stakeholder management skills and have a strong background in marketing, media and commercial services, as well as a good working knowledge of the Middle East.

The successful candidate will be based in KSA and may be required to travel and be prepared to work remotely from client offices when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager will lead, direct and monitor the planning and implementation for large scale, complex business projects and client implementations, while building a collaborative environment with both internal and external stakeholders.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing project plans and reports for numerous agency projects

  • Drafting and coordinating production of client materials e.g. presentations, letters, memos

  • Drafting client’s reports, including status updates, agendas and meeting minutes/summaries

  • Being present in client offices as required to deal with any issues in real-time

  • Presenting key project updates to client stakeholders and agency partners

  • Liaising directly with the client to update on project deliverables

  • Leading client and stakeholder meetings on project specifics

  • Attending client meetings and taking minutes of meeting as appropriate

  • Drafting and producing reports for agency brainstorms

  • Researching and engaging agency partners, as required

  • Ensuring all information is captured and project databases are updated in a timely manner

  • Setting up and managing administrative procedures

  • Updating company CRM system

  • Presenting creative work to rise management team

  • Coordinating and executing research tasks

  • Managing junior project manager to provide ongoing support

  • Keeping abreast of industry and daily news reports to stay on top of current affairs and client sector news

Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Candidate will be required to work on a range of projects under the direction of the Rise management team.  Key project management functions include:

  • Overseeing full project delivery for large, complex projects relative to the broader business need, keeping them on track, on budget and resolving issues

  • Accountable for each project team and deliverables from both internal and external stakeholders

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

  • Manages expectations and resource requirements for the project to ensure ownership and success

  • Reports to management, clients and others the status of project deliverables, milestones and costs

  • Coordinates project activities with other activities of the business

  • Attends weekly meetings and documents key deliverables, meeting minutes, and objectives

  • Manages engagement timelines, prioritization, and task management, to ensure all deliverables are accurate and on schedule

  • Manages communications and deliverable tracking documents

  • Sets ongoing prioritization and review deliverables with line manager

  • Professionally and consultatively drives technical conversations with the purpose of providing education and creative recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

  • Builds strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Tracks feedback and provides recommendations for improvement/modifications

  • Utilizes software, processes and procedures in a defined and consistent manner

  • Tracks and analyzes benchmarks and monitor project performance

  • Develops and manages all client and agency databases, with support of junior team

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Arabic fluency (spoken and written) is preferred, but not mandatory

  • Strong client presentation skills

  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office and Apple products

  • Confident, tactile and persuasive manner

  • Ability to deliver messages and actions in a coherent and structured manner.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Candidate will be required to display the following skills in the role:

  • Experience with media technology, retail/real estate, Wi-Fi and telecoms and other commercial asset management

  • Experience in consulting-oriented project management

  • Experience with programme management and workforce planning tools

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational skills, required to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Focused listening skills and the ability to drill down to gain greater understanding

  • Ability to translate complex information into understandable concepts for managerial action

  • Strong attention to detail, inquisitive personality and passion for knowledge & experience

  • Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability and overall positive attitude

  • Strong computer knowledge and skills, including in-depth knowledge of spreadsheet, database and word processing software

  • Ability to multi-task while under pressure

  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly

  • Ability to travel regularly, particularly in Saudi Arabia

  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential

  • Cultural awareness of the Middle East and specifically Saudi Arabia

  • Good business sense and ability to work within budget constraints.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A University Degree from an internationally recognized institution, preferably in the fields of International Business

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management and/or account management

  • Professional certifications are highly desirable but not mandatory
